Full Figure Bras are the exact opposite of Petite Bras. The full figure bra section of our website contains bras between bra cup sizes DD to H, with some bra cup sizes in I and J! Many full figure bras are full cup bras because that allows for better, more contained support for the breasts. Because the cup sizes for these bras are large, the extra support is necessary. Full Figure Bras can be found, in some of the smaller cup sizes (like DD), as demi cup bras, but that is a far rarer occurance, as most women who wear full figure bras need full cup bras to support their breasts firmly and effectively. Demi Cup Bras are defined as bras whose cup does not cover the entire breast. The advantage to this is purely cosmetic and comfort-oriented. A bra whose cup covers the entire breast can be hotter and less comfortable in the summer and in other hot weather, whereas a demi cup bra will leave your breasts room to breathe. Demi Cup Bras have the disadvantage of inferior support, but they do look sexier a lot of the time, and can be more comfortable in hot weather. In the end, though, bra choice is a very unique thing, and each and every woman has a different outlook on what kind of bra is the best! Full Cup Bras are the exact opposite of demi cup bras. Full Cup Bras are exactly what they sound like, they are bras with full coverage from the cups! Full cup bras can be somewhat more uncomfortable than demi cup bras in hot weather, because they cover so much of the breast. They do, however, provide much better support in most cases and are generally recommended for women with larger breasts (DD Bra Cups and higher) to gain the advantage of full cup bra support.
